Recently converted new Dell 620(dual core, 2 G, 80G hard disk, Windows XP) machine into dual boot system with Windows XP and fedora Core 5

o Used Windows XP installer to create partitions and reinstalled Windows XP.

o In addition of the two partitions for windows(NTFS) and linux ,created FAT32 partition(1G) using windows XP installer to create file system accessible by both XP and linux.

o Installed Linux with default settings. Fedora installer looks pretty good and par with other commercial software.

o so far I don't have success with wireless n/w configuration using ndiswrapper kernel.

Number of posts for wireless n/w issues indicates that there are lots of opportunities to improve wireless support in linux as well as from device vendors.

Looking forward to use linux server to do some performance architecture work.
